John Hoyle

As director, John Hoyle is responsible for the overall technical and financial performance of Guardian Mechanical and Building Services. John is the founder of Guardian and has extensive experience (over 40 years) in the building services industry. Prior to this, he worked in the HVAC industry. John has extensive experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams on major upgrade and rectification projects in both commercial and residential properties.

John’s commitment to technical excellence and focus on building client relationships has established the firms’ competitive presence in the building industry. More broadly, John has assisted numerous major companies with the development and implementation of technical strategy and fire safety systems upgrades.

John’s experience has included major involvement in conceptual design, organising and overseeing project teams to ensure work is carried out to the client and Guardian’s standards. A wide experience is possessed by John in a variety of projects relating to fire safety.

John possesses a Certificate of Competency in Fire Damper Installation and is an accredited Fire and Smoke Damper as well as Annual Fire Safety Statement certifier in compliance to the applicable Australian Standards. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and the Associate Member of the Australian Institute of Refrigeration Air Conditioning and Heating Inc.
