Kevin Jones

Kevin is an accredited Fire Safety Assessor (FSA) under the FPAS Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme and is capable of identifying the standard of performance to which Essential Fire Safety Measures are required to operate and able to assess, inspect and verify that the Essential Fire Safety Measures are operating and performing as required. In addition, Kevin has attended the AMCA fire and smoke dampers duct installers workshop and also completed the AMCA NSW course in the installation and certification of fire and smoke dampers.

Having been involved in the fire safety industry for ten years, Kevin’s experience includes the assessment and approval of various components of fire systems in numerous major commercial, industrial, residential, health and educational buildings across NSW and Australia.

Kevin has been involved with a number of significant building developments and upgrades and has carried out AS1851 site surveys and Building Code audits in relation to various fire services on a national basis, having the benefit of a detailed and thorough knowledge of both the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Australian Standards.

In addition, Kevin has a strong emphasis on developing strong client relationships and providing consistent improvements in reporting functionality to clients. Through his involvement with the planning process and experience, is well placed to provide advice in relation to a range of standard, code and legislative matters.
